Three Different Levels
Geographers study the world by looking at three different levels. They may choose to study at the local level, select a region to focus on or they may look at the world globally.
As CMs, we also consider three different levels. In our own lives, we are all responsible for learning and functioning as Centered Muslims to the best of our ability.
Secondly, we need to study, practice and pass on the basic structure of how a Muslim family functions effectively as no community can prosper without flourishing marriages. This is even more critical if we belong to backgrounds that effectively oppose the Muslim model for marriage as it is through the sacred institution of marriage that the next generation of Centered Muslims are raised.
Some of us may not be aware that many who live highly ordered lives and who vehemently oppose the system of Islam actually practice our model of marriage. Some amongst them work hard to dismantle successful Muslim marriages and to make Muslims swerve from the model Islam presents for marriage in order to weaken Muslims and to create chaos within the lives of Muslims.
Thirdly, as Centered Muslims our concern goes beyond me, myself & my family and we seek to live with an ummatic mindset that considers our contributions as individuals and families to our community and ummah. What hurts my community and ummah harms me. When I harm others, I harm my community and my ummah.
