The FMBT Framework
The FMBT framework briefly explained here and here represents the phases of psychological and spiritual development and, in reverse order, also represents the four categories of people that Allah has blessed.
In Surah al-Fatihah, we specify the straight path by mentioning those whom Allah has blessed. Scholars of tafsir explain that this category of people Allah has blessed is mentioned in Surah al-Nisaa, verse 69:
And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger will be in the company of those blessed by Allah: the prophets, the people of truth, the martyrs, and the righteous—what honourable company!
When you read the verse, you find it mentions Trees (Prophets), birds (truthful), mountains (martyrs), and flowers (righteous).
Prophets shade and serve mankind with the guidance they deliver. Similar to birds, the truthful perceive the truth from a higher vantage point. Martyrs are steadfast and refuse to compromise on their principles, just as mountains do not move from their place. Flowers signify the spiritual beauty of the righteous, including their humility and love of Allah.
Allah knows best.
